New Year's Eve

We spent this New Year's Eve with friends eating fabulous food! This is the third New Year's Eve that we have cooked dinner with the Russell's and the Gabel's. Brian, Mary, and Melanie are wonderful cooks and they spoiled us with excellent food. The menu this year was crab bisque, pear salad, grits, prime rib and french bread. I successfully convinced Hunter that the crab bisque was too rich for his sensitive stomach and I ate his as well! Needless to say, I ate way too much! Our New Year's dinner three years ago was only adults and this year it was 4 couples, 4 children and another baby on the way. Things have really changed! I wasn't able to get very many pictures this year because most of the time Holden was there was spent chasing him and keeping him from going upstairs. After dinner Holden went to stay with Sue-Sue and Papa so we could relax. It was a great way to celebrate the new year!
